Virtual Private Network in Banking

crews-tank-united

How does Virtual Private Network service work in banking?
Whenever you use the internet through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or at another site, your computer is given an address on that provider’s network. While you can reach your bank from the Internet, you will normally be denied access to services that are restricted to bank network addresses because your computer is using an address from an external network.

But, if you are on the internet, you can still connect to the Bank’s VPN service, in two ways. From a web browser or with a software VPN client. A VPN need not have explicit security features, such as authentication or content encryption. Virtual Private Network setup, can be used to separate traffic of different user communities over an underlying network with strong security features.

Seek secured private connectivity across public IP networks!

Extends geographical connectivity
Improves productivity
Improves security
Reduce transit time and transportation costs for remote users
Reduce operational costs versus traditional WAN
Simplify network topology
Provides global networking opportunities
Provides broadband networking compatibility
Provides faster ROI than traditional WAN
Provides telecommuter support

VPN are categorised into two types:
• Remote access VPN
• Site to site VPN

What is site to site Virtual Private Network in banking?
Such Site to site VPN allows you to have a secured connection between locations across the open internet. With the help if site to site VPN your bank can save a great deal of money, as you can use cheaper means always – on connections such as domestic broadband rather than expensive leased lines between sites.

What about Remote access VPN?
Remote access VPN also known as Virtual Private Dial up(VPDN) is used by banks who have staff regularly working in locations outside the office. You can connect into the office network over dial up phone/isdn lines or over broadband from anywhere.

Virtual Private Network banking uses advanced encryption and tunneling to permit computers to establish secure, end-to-end, private network connections over insecure networks, such as the Internet or wireless networks. VPN services can impact your overall computing and network performance. VPNs exist to protect traffic on public data networks like the Internet. VPN Services will work with other ISP dialup services too. Try your online route for your VPN.

Offsite Data Backup – Be Very careful who you deal with!

loaded-warran-gregory

The concept of offsite data backup is not new; some time ago it was only available to corporate institutions that had multiple locations, high connectivity speeds and very high budgets. Today the cost of hardware and high speed connectivity has greatly reduced, as a result the number of companies offering backup to a remote location has greatly increased. For purposes of conversation, we can call it jumping on the band wagon.

You may think the increased competition is good for the consumer, to an extent, I agree, but not at the cost of cutting corners and jeopardising the security of your data. We all know and agree a company’s data is its most important asset, and to lose or give access to your competition such an asset is never an option. So please be careful where you store your data.

The general idea of offsite backup is a good one, after all it has a very low proportionate implementation cost and as the correct system should be completely automated the cost of ownership is also very low as well. Unlike tape backup it is also very scalable, you can start small and grow into larger solutions as and when you require with zero disruption but you have to be with the right offsite backup company in the first place.

In today’s data centric environment even smaller companies may have more than one server, just for example a server for Microsoft Exchange/Lotus Notes, a server for Microsoft SQL/Oracle/MySQL and potentially a file and print server, or maybe a single server which carries out all tasks. Smaller companies may still use older inherited Unix based or Novell based systems or may be considering migrating to a lower cost Linux environment. Whet ever you currently use or what you may use in the future your offsite backup solution will need to adapt. Please check, what ever backup company you use, make sure they are always developing their products for the future, your companies future.

Getting data to an offsite location is the easy bit, anybody can click and drag to an ftp site, to optimise your backup and more importantly your recovery times make sure your data is compressed locally or at source. The most important element of any data transfer is security, make sure your data is encrypted before it is transmitted and remains encrypted whilst in storage if this is the case only your organisation will have access to your data.

In what environment is your data stored? There is no point just moving your most important asset to another location, make sure it is totally safe, data should only be backed up to a class 1 data centre with the highest security and safety measures in place, hardware should be clustered so there is no single point of failure within that data centre and for added security and peace of mind the whole data centre and hardware within should be a replicated in real time to a second location in preferably another country.

Imagine your local data backed up every night or when ever you wish to a secure remote location in the UK and then replicated in real-time to a second data centre in a different country.
Finally this whole process must be as efficient as possible. It must be totally secure, fully automated ensuring your staff are focussed on revenue generating functions, it must support open files enabling you to backup regardless of what your systems are doing and it must be capable of incremental backups, after all there is no point re-transmitting a file which has not been accessed for a year.

So after reading this article I now hope it has made you think and understand why the cheapest offsite backup solution is rarely the best.

Am I Living My Vision?

whitney-pratt

I am living the most abundant life I can imagine! Does this mean that I am living my vision? Not yet.

“Why not?” you ask.

My answer is that I have not yet expanded my imagination enough to encompass my vision, but I am getting closer. You see, I am now a full-fledged student of “The Law of Abundance”. This universal law drives what is manifested in my life.

Our culture is full of truisms that support the “Law of Abundance”. The following represent only a few of those truisms. “If you set your mind to it…” “If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got.” “You are a victim of the rules you live by.” “I think, therefore I am”.

Look at the people around you. What do you see? When you look at a person’s life you can literally read their mind. A person’s outer state of being is nothing more than the manifestation of a person’s thought. Now look inside. Do you see peace, serenity, affluence, love, abundance? To have these things, you have to set your mind to it.

As these words are expressions of my vision, I had to fully understand their meaning to me. The following brief definitions represent my vision of my life (and luckily match dictionary definitions).

Peace – harmonious relations; freedom from disputes; the absence of mental stress or anxiety

Serenity – Calmness of mind; evenness of temper; undisturbed state; coolness; composure.

Affluence – An abundant supply, as of thought, words, feelings, etc.; profusion; also, abundance of property; wealth

Love – A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness

Abundance – A great or plentiful amount; Fullness to overflowing

By learning to manifest through proper use of the “Law of Abundance”, all this and more can be yours. “Every great work, every big accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.” Florence Scovel Shinn.

Our lives are our biggest accomplishment. Our lives are the manifestation of our vision. By creating your vision, and by following the rules of manifestation, the universe is yours for the asking. Learning how to ask is the goal of students of the “Law of Abundance.”

Changing And Keeping Resolutions

takes-kowl-time

It’s time for that annual ritual of making (and breaking) our New Year’s resolutions. There is something about the idea of being able to start over that motivates us to pause (at least briefly) and reflect on our lives as they are, as well as how we would like them to be. Yet how many times have you thought back to last year’s goals and found that many or most of them were abandoned or just forgotten after a few weeks or months into the year?

Many of us have difficulty following through on our resolutions due to factors such as choosing unrealistic goals, not making them challenging enough and/or lacking the necessary motivation to stick with them. The following tips should help put you on the right course and assist you in staying committed to your most important goals for 2006.

Start with a life vision

If you don’t know what you want your future to look like, how can you decide what areas of your life need to be worked on? Spend some quiet time TODAY reflecting on (and writing down) what is good, bad or incomplete. Then try to see your life if all of these areas were addressed and had become satisfactory to you.

Get organized

Clear away clutter. Go through paperwork, files, old bills and receipts, closets, drawers and storage containers. Decide what you need and will use and either throw out or give away all the rest. Put aside some time each week for this purpose. After you have cleaned out you can think about your existing systems for management and storage and see if these need reworking or just some fine-tuning. Keep ONE calendar to record all appointments, events, etc. Write down everything- don’t rely on memory.

Expand your horizons and make a commitment to learning something new.

Challenging yourself will infuse you with greater energy and sense of purpose. It will help build your self-esteem to realize you really are capable of more than you had previously believed. This new learning can also give you additional resources to assist you in your career, personal or love life.

Set challenging but realistic resolutions

Choose goals that stretch your ability muscles, yet are realistic and therefore less vulnerable to failure. Don’t respond to that negative inner voice that says; oh, I’m not capable of that. Instead, focus on what you truly desire for your life and relationships and let this be your guide.

Write down your resolutions

Write them down and stick them on your bathroom mirror, your fridge, your car dashboard, your desk or wherever you know will be a good place for you to see them. You can also show them to a good friend, family member, your coach or anyone who could provide support and encouragement.

Create action steps for each resolution; write them down, and keep an accounting of your progress for each.

A resolution without planned action is doomed to failure. Break each goal down into small action steps or objectives. Putting a date for completion will help ensure you follow through. Come up with an accountability system that will work for you. Make sure you check off each accomplishment as you go and be flexible and willing to make adjustments in your action steps in order to achieve your desired end results.

Take care of yourself; eat well. Exercise regularly and learn to control and eliminate unhealthy stress.

I know this is an obvious one, so why is it often ignored or overlooked when we are attempting to make important life changes? How many times have you said, I don’t have the time to eat right, exercise, sleep adequately, etc? Not caring for yourself will guarantee failure. So, why not make this your first and most important resolution for 2006?

Work to eliminate bad habits

Including this as a New Year’s resolution would put you on the road to good follow-through. Bad habits will sabotage your efforts and use up your limited resources of time, energy and focus. For each bad habit you decide to eliminate, have a good habit in mind to replace it with.

Set appropriate and healthy limits in all areas of your life

Knowing your limits and enforcing them with yourself and others is a prerequisite to a healthy life and relationship. Learn to say no and enough and be firm in your resolve that this is a good thing to do. Otherwise, you will also be undermining your resolution to take care of yourself.

Work to be the kind of person you want to be with

Bringing out the best qualities in yourself will help to ensure that you attract people of good quality into your life. You wouldn’t want to compromise on the standards you have set for a potential mate. Therefore, it’s important to understand that this also holds true for other people in search of relationships.

Now begin this year with the resolve to be the person you know you have the potential to be. You’ll be pleased with the wonderful changes that await you!

Plug in with a Purpose

credimi

Imagine that each person on this planet carried with them a teaspoon of soil or rock from Mt. Everest. Certainly Mt. Everest would shrink! Those individual teaspoons of material from the tallest mountain on Earth now in the pockets of billions of people also wouldn’t mean much. Well I suppose each of us could put that small amount of mineral material into a bottle and keep it as a souvenir. But like most souvenirs we collect, we tire of dusting them and they become added to the already crowded drawer or box of meaningless, useless items. A teaspoon of dirt, in a jar, in a drawer, that by itself, means little.

But, wait a minute…. What about it’s P-0-T-E-N-T-I-A-L?

From Webster’s Dictionary:

Contribute: to give or supply in common with others

What if each person on this planet brought their teaspoon of Mt. Everest to the site where it used to stand and contributed it? What would happen? Why, we would build the highest, mightiest mountain on Earth…TOGETHER.

Good thought. Doubtful it would happen. Why not? Let’s explore that. We can start by applying this Mt. Everest metaphor to our own lives.

Modern times finds we human beings have, at least in the developed world, become rather insular (just think of the word insulate ). We cocoon in our homes. We don’t have time, we don’t have enough money, we are tired. We don’t have any time to ourselves, we go to work and slave for someone else’s goals and often receive a pay cheque for much less than we feel we are worth. We provide for our families, do the myriad of tasks and chores in and for the home. Sacrifice for and fearfully protect our children. We amass debt to do many of these things. We feel trapped in a vortex of stress. And yet, with all this striving for what we think we want, if we are honest, we still feel unfulfilled and probably guilty for feeling that way!

Something elusive is still missing.

We are living our separateness. We are not acknowledging our interconnectedness.

We avoid asking ourselves Who am I, why am I really here? because we already know that we don’t know or are afraid the answers will jolt us out of what we think is our comfort zone. Finding out may take more of that precious time we don’t’ have or take more of that effort we are too tired to perform! It’s one of those conundrums: we want to know, but we don’t want to know because it may shake up our lives, it may cause our lives to….here it comes…..CHANGE! And human beings don’t like change, yet it is the one thing we can all count on. So there we are, unfulfilled vs. having to change. Yup, it’s scary. But so worth it!

Have you ever listened to Nelson Mandela, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Mother Theresa, the Dali Lama or so many other highly spiritually evolved human beings? And I mean really listened to them? Would you say all of them know who they are? And are they living their purpose, their passion? Of course. We can ‘feel’ that they are. All of them have their roots in different countries, all of them teach the same message, which is, we are all interconnected. We were not put on this earth to be separate, we are all teaspoons of the Whole. And the way we can come together and build a Mt. Everest world of harmony is through contribution.

We likely think of ways in which to contribute as the usual volunteering our time or donating our money. Heck, we receive unsolicited begging for money via telemarketing phone calls and the postal system on an endless basis! Of course charitable organizations do need our donations of time and money, but there is another, more intangible way to add your teaspoon. It is through fulfilling your life’s Purpose. This means:

Living life intentionally, not by accident

Capturing the essence of what it means to be fully alive

You have a powerful direction in your life

You make choices that increase the value of life to yourself and others

Being fulfilled today and every day

Living your life based on your values

Due to our spiritual interconnectedness, there is no true life Purpose that does not include contribution. And there is no contribution that does not include reward for you, tangible or intangible. You are here to make a difference on this planet. Wouldn’t you like to know what you will leave behind, the difference you will make in the lives of those you touch?

Your life Purpose is an underlying theme to your life, not a specific job, parenting or partnering. Your Purpose can be fulfilled through these, but it is not these. Your life Purpose is not to be a title, it is to do something, something that contributes. Never underestimate your power, your teaspoon has the potential to become Mt. Everest! You can be fulfilling your life Purpose with as little as an acknowledgment, a warm touch, a phone call, a letter, a kind smile or word, lending an ear, anything that contributes to the mental, physical or emotional well being of another living soul. Or conversely, refraining from judgment, harsh words within or without the presence of the target, anything that you know, deep in your heart, would be hurtful to another.

The special wording of your purpose is uniquely yours. Certain words have specific meaning to each of us. When you speak your purpose, something physical happens to you, you know this is you. Others hearing it may not feel that power, because it is not theirs, but it is not meant to impress anyone else, it is the Universe speaking to your heart and that is all that matters.

Who Lynn is and what I am here to do is the following:

I am a strong and free woman, leading people to discover their true value

When I say this I feel an angel kiss my forehead, my heart is full and I have such a peace and understanding. And even better, I know I am contributing to the lives of others.

Up to now, I have been fulfilling my life Purpose to about 80% potential in the career aspect of my life. It is through Personal Life Coaching that I know I am fulfilling my life’s Purpose 100%. I know the potential of my ‘teaspoon’ and through my Purpose I hope to touch as many lives as I can reach to enable them to know their potential as well.

You are not separate, you are connected, just Plug in with a Purpose!

5 + 5 = Your Dream

amandakcelebratelifephotography-quoti-youquot

I know your judgment…Okay John, 5+5 does not equal 5 therefore let me please explain. Let’s institute with a question. How many times have you heard that you necessitate to have a “elongated term” goal with be focused for the entire length of that “long idiom ”? In this article, I am going to focus on a 5 day goal and explain how you will know if you are truly on track to do your 5 day goal in life.
into the equation, the rejoin 5 is your five-year aspiration and the 5+5 is the underlying secret to attaining that aspiration.

As I speak with numerous people on a daily basis, I hear their frustration about their goals that they’ve situate and the lack of progress that they have made. since I say, “A mountain is built one stone at a occasion and climbed one pace at a time.”

The first “5” during the equation represents the 5 people that you call our acquaintances, associates, etc. I suggest that you make a list of the 5 natives that you associate with on a regular beginning, and then take a good appear at it to witness if they either have goals related to yours or are succeeding towards the achievement of a goal similar to your 5-day vision. A main key to unlock the secret to your prospect is to be 110% aware of the fact that you will ultimately become who you associate with. For example, if you have dreams of flattering healthy and loaded and your associates are round smokers that complain on working lone -minute overtime, then I can predict the odds of you individual healthy and wealthy is slim to none. Millions of public never manage their dreams, because their “acquaintances ” serve as “cement shoes” because they walk towards their goals in life. As I set my goals, I surround myself with population who are on the same lane in life that I am on. proviso you justly internalize this same mindset, then you can achieve your goals within life.

The following “5” in the equation is to take a personal inventory of the last 5 books that you have understand or cd’s that you have listened to. Just for fun, the next time one of your friends complains about something…inquire them what were the last 5 books that they have interpret or cd’s they boast listened to. You spirit get one of two answers: I perform not remember or I execute not have the time to read. Your last 5 books that you study will determine where your focus or direction is in being. The typical person reads 1 book a year after towering school, which is the #1 motive why 95% of people are “dead broke at age 65”.

yet the best computer in the world needs to be programmed in order to perform its functions. We are all considered for greatness, excluding we need to be conscious of our family and what we are reading or listening to on a daily basis force decide the plane of greatness that we all reach. Decide today toward focus on your 5 year goal and realize that your 5 friends plus the 5 books/cd’s that you snoop to will determine if you thump your Why or not. Success is undemanding, but not easy because it takes the ability to grow, stretch, search and learn to like everyday as you progress towards your 5-year Dream.

I can actually forecast your results…

5 + 5 = Your Dream

If You Want To Succeed In Life You Must Set Personal Development Goals

presenting-baby

The role of Personal Development and Self Improvement is to help you achieve your goals in life. Both are designed to give you the skills you need to achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve. But can personal development or self improvement really improve your life situations?

Well, the purpose of both self improvement and personal development is to do just that. They are both just tools that are used to ensure you will succeed in your chosen life areas. They are desgined to help you become happier on the inside and more satisfied with what you have on the outside in any are you chose to apply them!

You may not now know how to proceed. So what type of personal development goals should you set? How do you start to develop self improvement goals that will lead you to freedom, a deeper feeling of happiness, help you achieve a better lifestyle and ultimately create more success in your life? This question is not simple to answer because success means different things to different people. Therefore, if you want to become successful you must first have a clear understanding of what success means to you!

A fantastic way to get a clear on what success means for you is to ask yourself the question, what would I do if I knew I couldn’t fail? Allow yourself to bask in the mental image that is produced. The vision that is created in your mind will show you what you really want in life and from this vision you can see what success means to you.

From the moment a person is born he/she has a natural ability to know what it is they want and a belief that they can have it. We develop dreams and ambitions at a very early age. However as we grow older we are conditioned to believe that these dreams are not possible or are mere fantasies of our imagination. You are directed to get a good education so that you can find a good job that will allow you to get a mortgage, get married, have kids and live a ‘normal’ life. By the time most people reach their mid twenties they have all but given up on their dreams or even forgotten what those dreams are. They have become conditioned into believing that they are incapable of achieving what they want in life. This fundamental belief forms the foundation of their self image and the rest of their mental attitudes are build upon it!

It is the role of personal development and self improvement to remove these conditioned mental attitudes from your inner mind and free you to pursue the life course that you chose for yourself. Through the use of personal development and self improvement you can begin today to remove mental conditioning that you received from well-meaning family, peers and teachers. In addition you will also be directed to remove all those negative mental attitudes that have been given to you by not so well-meaning people and those you have developed yourself through negative life experiences. Although this is not always an easy or pleasurable journey to take the rewards that you will experience from taking it are immeasurable and make it truly worthwhile.

The freedom that you can experience from removing just one negative mental and negative emotional pattern is akin to the feeling of rest and tranquillity you feel after extreme physical exercise. Removing numerous negative mental attitudes and emotional stress from your mind and body is a feeling and experience that is truly hard to describe to someone who has never experienced it themselves.

Jesus Christ said, seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you: Matthew 6:33. By removing the negative mental and emotional attitudes from your mind you free yourself to reach your goals. Let me explain.

For instance you may have a desire to be wealthy and thus set a personal development goal to become financially free. There are thousands of different ways to achieve this goal. There are thousands of methods you could follow and plans you could set in motion that would bring you closer to this goal. Millions of people have gone from rags to riches. So, why does following a plan work for one person and the same plan will not work for another?

It is due entirely to the difference in attitude and mental conditioning!

There are at your disposal numerous personal development and self improvement methods that are designed to help you achieve this goal. Now these tools and methods are not designed to show you the way to become financially free but instead are designed to free you from your own inner resistance to being financially free. Many people think this is a waste of time and would prefer to be given step by step instructions to build financial wealth and I was once one of them. However, it didn’t matter how much effort I used or how many ‘guaranteed’ formulas I followed my financial situations did not improve and many times actually grew worse.

Why was this? Were the plans I was following just not good enough to create wealth? Were the people peddling these rags to riches methods merely conning me out of my money? Was gaining wealth just pure luck like winning the lottery?

The answer to all of the above questions is no!

The plans I followed had worked for thousands and made them rich! The people selling me the products and methods had all made their fortunes using the very same techniques they were trying to teach me! It was only after a great deal of hradship and many learning lessons that I discovered the truth – gaining wealth has nothing to do with being lucky!

It wasn’t that these things were not good enough to produce the wealth I craved it was that I THOUGHT I wasn’t good enough. When you hold a negative self image and have a negative view of yourself and your abilities it is very difficuly to achieve success no matter how much effort you put into it! This is why it is of paramount importance to first remove the negative conditioning that is holding you back in life.

Your attitude, which is only composed of thoughts and feelings, is responsible for your actions. Thought is the creator of action! Every action you perform, no matter how small or big, first begins in your mind as a thought. Each thought begins as a feeling. Think of when you met your last partner. You first felt the attraction. This developed into a thought or series of thoughts about meeting the person. Then you performed some action to make that happen. Bring to mind a time when you meet with your friends to have a social gathering. You had the feeling that you would like to have some fun, or be with your friends, were feeling lonely etc. Then you had the thought. Then you performed the action.

If your actions are motivated by your thoughts and feelings and your attitude is composed of thoughts and feelings do you think you could succeed at a given task if you hold a negative mental attitude about it or your ability to succeed at it?

Once you embrace personal development and begin to use any of the myriad of self improvement tools to remove your negative mental attitudes you will naturally find yourself becoming more successful in life. You actions will be more positive and you will unconsciously perform the correct actions that will lead you to success. I am sure you can know see how important it is to set some personal development goals. Not only will you see improvement in your self, you will also see many symptoms of success added unto you!

How Much Money Do Americans Need

awenec-quotjokerquot-scania

That the hot pursuit of money can pull someone away from all other matters in life is now becoming more obvious in America. Some people who have made their first million and more are turning to something else for fulfillment. Some are becoming volunteers, others are joining religious movements and still others are giving their money away to help those less fortunate. Why is this happening?

I have traveled through a lot of the world and have developed an obvious bias when it comes to Americans. Besides being the most stubborn, silly and obstinate people on earth I am sure they are the kindest people as well. The level of caring for others here outshines anything I have seen worldwide. On the collective level Americans often raise more money and send more aid the people of foreign countries than their own governments raise to help. On the personal level the stories of generosity and kindness are countless. It is a matter of the heart I’m sure.

As a boy my mother drove me to the town square to do a few errands with her. She told me to go to the news stand and buy her daily paper while she went to do an errand. I wandered slowly down the street window shopping as I went with my imagination in high gear, it was Christmas time and I was dreaming of all the things I though Id like to have at that time when it was most likely I might get them.

I was within a block of the news stand clutching the fifteen cents tightly in my hand for the paper. I passed by the doorway of an unoccupied building and there sitting on a tiny wooded platform was a legless man. Shabbily dressed and unshaven he sat shivering in the cold with an old tin can in front of him stuffed with a few yellow pencils. He called out…pencils…five cents. I froze in my tracks and gazed at him. My emotions were a rock hitting the calm waters of a pool sending splashes and effects everywhere at once. I had not seen anything like that yet in my life.

A sense I could not explain or describe gripped my heart. I gave him the fifteen cents and stepped back as he tried to give me three pencils. I said …no, sell those to someone else, and then I ran. My mother scolded me when I explained what I had done but I couldn’t hear her very well. All I could do is to think about that man and his condition for hours, even days to come. Up to then I had paid little attention to higher morals, right and wrong or religious teachings. I was just too busy being a boy. What made me stop and give him the money puzzled me for years. I know now it was something I am made of and not something I learned.

That is what I mean about Americans although not all. They are made of something different. I can only guess that it the grace of God still lingering on a nation that hasn’t given up completely on things that are right and faith in a living God. When they do turn from these things it seems they don’t notice it too well because they do it by degrees. With the distraction of so much information and education along with the profusion of entertainment and recreational options it seems Americans are drifting. They aren’t just drifting from higher principles but from higher purpose. They are learning what everything is made of but forgetting what they are made of.

Some temptations are more universal than others. Most people will not become Presidents or statesmen and most will not become well known actors or performers. But many people realize that in today’s booming economy there is opportunity to become very rich. At the very least there is opportunity to get…just a little bit more.

If the unbridled pursuit of just a little more money can pull people away from God’s message to them, then it is reasonable to think that it can pull them away from many other things as well…even themselves or who they really are.

And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Luke 8:14
